Sept 2022 School Places

Sept 2022 School Places

Sept 2022 School Places

Tuesday 1st March is National Offer Day for Middle and High September 2022 point of entry places.  Parents who applied for school places will find out where they have been allocated.

Parent info

If you applied online and asked to be informed by email you will receive an email informing you of the allocated school on the 1st March 2022.  You can also log on the Portal to find out.

If you applied on a paper form, a letter will be posted to you on the 1st March 2022 by second class mail informing you of the allocated school.  Please do not contact admissions or schools before you have received your letter.  They cannot give you any information.

If you would like to accept the school place your child has been offered you can do this by emailing admissions, stating your child’s name and DOB and letting and the name of the school you wish to accept the place at.

If you are not happy with the school you have been offered and would like to go on the waiting list for another school that you applied for, please email admissions not the school, giving your child’s name, DOB and the name of the school/s you would like to go on the waiting list for. We suggest that you accept the school place you have been offered in case you don’t get a place from a waiting list, so your child has a school to go to in September.  You can also appeal for a place at a school you have applied for and not been offered by following this link https://my.northtyneside.gov.uk/category/224/appeal-school-place-decision

Please note all queries should be directed to admissions at this stage and not the school you wish your child to attend.  You can contact admissions on school.admissions@northtyneside.gov.uk We ask parents to be patient regarding a response as this is an extremely busy time.  Admissions are unable to respond to phone calls.

Many thanks
