Year 6 Technology

Year 6 technology covers a range of different skills. We develop both sewing machine and hand sewing skills by making mini cushions. In the Spring term we learn key techniques for cooking such as safely peeling and cutting vegetables. In the summer term our work is electronics based and we will be torches.

Mini torches

Year 6 have been working very hard on their mini torches. They began by investigating existing torches. They have measured and cut their plastic and foam. Photos of finished torches to follow!
