Year 5 Technology

Year 5 technology covers a range of different skills. We begin with sewing machine skills by making drawstring bags. In the Spring term we learn key techniques for cooking such as safely peeling and cutting vegetables. In the summer term our work is resistant materials based and we will be making wind chimes.

Resistant materials

Year 5 are making wind chimes, they have measured their wood, used hack saws, drilled and made templates. Finished work to follow soon!
