Wellfield Parents Forum is run by parents for parents and is there to represent parents who wish to raise any issues in relation to the school in a friendly and supportive environment.  We never discuss matters relating to individual children or teachers.  We also provide the School management with feedback on any proposals or changes that may affect pupils or parents.

There are currently about eight parent members and we meet approximately once every half-term with Mr Collinson.

Topics that have been discussed at recent meetings include

• Anti-bullying leaflet - we have been closely involved with the development of this leaflet and hope that you will find it useful.
• Cleanliness and Hygiene in School
• School Lunch arrangements
• School Uniform
• Improving communication with parents - eg we have supported the school in setting regular dates for the publication of newsletters and ensuring these are put on the website and sent out electronically (to those signed up to the HomeContact scheme)
• Behavior and Discipline policies
• School Trips
• Plus many others!
