Be Spirited

Be Spirited is an additional strand to the existing Every Child Matters (ECM) agenda which has been pioneered by the local authority. Every pupil at the school has a timetabled lesson called Be Spirited.  This covers aspects of citizenship, PHSE and Learning to Learn.  Our whole school work on Be Spirited is built around 3 fundamental questions - Who am I? Who is my neighbour?, and how do I relate to my community and my world.

In addition to this, as part of our timetable we also devote a number of  Themed days to Be Spirited each year. Where pupils are reorganised and work in all age groups on various cross-curricular projects.
